Planning Botox or Filler Before an Event

Start with a consultation

Cosmetic injections are medical procedures. Ask a licensed, trained provider about the product, possible risks, recovery and what timing is suitable for you. Do not assume a treatment will produce a particular result by an event date.

Allow time for individual recovery

Ask your provider how soon effects may appear, what swelling or bruising may occur and what to do if you have concerns. These experiences vary. A follow-up or adjustment may carry a separate charge; ask in advance rather than assuming it is included.

Check promotions directly

Questions to ask

• Who will evaluate me and administer the treatment?
• What product and treatment areas are proposed, and what are the risks?
• What is included in the quote, and what are the follow-up costs?
• Who should I contact if I have a concern afterward?
